Codeine is a weaker opioid used to treat mild to moderate pain and to relieve cough. In many countries it is available over the counter in combination with paracetamol, which can easily be extracted to retrieve near-pure codeine. For this reason, it is used widely as a recreational opioid. It is metabolised into morphine in the body at a rate of 5% mg for mg.

Physical effects: dry mouth, itchiness, relaxant, constipation, pupil constriction, analgesia.

Mental effects: euphoria, mood lift

Low toxicity, potentially lethal when mixed with depressants like alcohol or benzodiazepines. Moderately addictive with a high potential for abuse. The best way to avoid any substance risk is to avoid drug use.

All presented information information is only intended for a quick overview and reference, it is necessary do more research before making any decision.
Reagent test kits can indicate PRESENCE, but not QUANTITY. Mixtures can be detected with reagents only if an adulterant causes a darker color change than the expected substance (check in the app).
