DrugsPRO is a harm-reduction and drug-information tool. To provide its core features, the app accesses, collects and uses health data that you choose to enter — such as the substances you log, amounts and doses, routes of administration, timestamps, personal notes, experiences and experience-phase tracking. This section explains what health data we access and collect, how we collect it, and how we use it.
The one narrow exception, involving only end-to-end-encrypted and hashed data, is the optional Friends feature described below.
The optional Wearable safety display can read selected health data only after you grant permission. On Android and Wear OS, it uses Health Connect; on iPhone and Apple Watch, it uses Apple Health (HealthKit). The app continues to work if you decline permission, but wearable readings are not shown.
Heart-rate and respiratory-rate data are requested only when the Wearable safety display is open and are used only to show the current reading next to the active experience. They are not sent to our servers, saved to your journal, included in cloud sync or backups, used for advertising, profiling or analytics, or sold or shared with third parties.
You can withdraw permission at any time in Apple Health, Health Connect or your device settings without uninstalling the app. Once permission is withdrawn, the Wearable safety display no longer receives those readings.
DrugsPRO does not require user accounts and does not collect personal data such as names, email addresses or precise location.
Some technical data may be stored locally on your device to enable offline functionality and improve app performance.
When the app requests reference content from our server (for example substance information or public laboratory alerts), those requests are not tied to an account and are not used to build a profile of you. The entries you make in your journal are not sent to or logged on our server.
Where pages or content are sorted by popularity, the ranking is based on aggregated information obtained from Google. It is not derived from, or associated with, the activity of any individual DrugsPRO user.
Extensions are optional add-ons you install yourself, and none is active until you install and enable it. An extension only affects presentation: it describes panels, buttons and fields, and the app draws every one of them with its own controls. It cannot change how the app works, add features the app does not already have, or read your journal, your notes or your settings unless you grant it a permission that says so. The permissions an extension has are listed on its card in Profile → Extensions, and you can switch it off or remove it there at any time.
The Experience sharing extension sends selected details to dose.wiki only when you choose a destination and confirm the submission. You choose what it contains. Nothing is sent automatically, nothing is sent in the background, and the app never sends your journal to that service by itself. The destination host is shown on the extension's card before you install it. Once details leave the app they are handled by that service under its own terms, not ours.
In the mobile apps, the Alg0sp3ak extension can be told when you take a screenshot. The app is only informed that a capture happened — it never receives the image, and it cannot read your photo library or see any other screenshot you take.
If you turn this on, the app saves one extra image of its own screen with substance names changed. That image is written to your device's photo library and nowhere else; it is not uploaded, and we never see it. On iOS this uses add-only photo access, which lets the app add images without being able to read your library. You can revoke it in system settings, and the feature stops.
The app can also notice when your screen is being recorded, so it can change substance names for the recording and offer to keep that on. It reads a single system flag that says whether recording is happening — the same flag is available to any app. It cannot see the recording, cannot access it, and nothing about it leaves your device. On iOS that flag is also set by AirPlay mirroring and by capture over a cable, and it does not say which of the three it is. Android reports this only on version 15 and newer; on older versions nothing is detected.
AR object placement starts only after you press the camera shutter. Camera analysis runs on the device. A frame created after an explicit object tap is kept temporarily in memory for shape and color analysis, then deleted; DrugsPRO does not save or upload that captured frame.
If you choose to resume the most recent session, iOS may keep a protected AR world map and object metadata for up to 24 hours. Android keeps an encrypted local geometry and result snapshot and asks for one or two reference taps after the app process closes. Recovery contains no camera images and can be cleared in Data settings.
Android spatial positioning uses Google Play Services for AR (ARCore), an optional Google system component governed by Google's terms and privacy policy. DrugsPRO does not use ARCore Cloud Anchors and does not send captured images or environmental maps to its servers.
No notifications sent by DrugsPRO are targeted and we do not collect any personal data.
Push notifications containing experience phase updates are completely local, coming from your device only. If your version of the application requires online access for such notifications, this means that our server sends only an empty ping to your device to activate the local schedule.

This application does not use tracking cookies. Local storage is used exclusively to save user preferences, offline data and application state.
DrugsPRO is provided for informational and educational purposes only. The app does not promote, condone or encourage the use of illegal substances.
Use of the application is at your own risk. The publisher is not responsible for decisions made based on information provided in the app.
The app is not intended to provide instructions for substance use, dosing, or procurement.
