ECX

S-ethyl-L-cysteine is a S-alkyl-L-cysteine that is L-cysteine in which the hydrogen of the thiol group is substituted by an ethyl group. It has a role as an antitubercular agent. It is a tautomer of a S-ethyl-L-cysteine zwitterion.
