Oxiracetam

Oxiracetam is typically taken 2-3 times daily due to its 8-hour half-life. It is strongly recommended to supplement with a choline source such as Alpha-GPC or CDP-Choline to prevent headaches and optimize cognitive benefits. The substance increases acetylcholine utilization, which can lead to choline depletion. Not approved by the FDA but widely available as a dietary supplement in the United States. May cause insomnia if taken late in the day due to mild stimulant properties.
