4-MTA

4-MTA is an extremely dangerous substance with a high fatality rate. It acts as both a potent serotonin releaser and MAO-A inhibitor, creating severe risk of fatal serotonin syndrome and hyperthermia. The slow onset (30-90 minutes) leads to high redosing risk and accidental overdose. Street tablets typically contained 100-140mg. Multiple deaths were reported in Europe in the late 1990s.
