Nimetazepamas

Nimetazepam is a potent intermediate-acting benzodiazepine with rapid onset and high abuse potential. It is primarily prescribed in Asia for severe insomnia and as an anticonvulsant in children. The drug has near 100% oral bioavailability and is the N-methylated analogue of nitrazepam, to which it partially metabolizes. Street tablets sold as Erimin-5 are frequently counterfeit and may contain other benzodiazepines. Commonly misused to soften stimulant comedowns or as an MDMA/heroin substitute.
