C30-NBOMe (also known as 30C-NBOMe or 25C-NB345OMe) differs structurally from typical NBOMes in carrying a 3,4,5-trimethoxybenzyl group, a mescaline-like pattern, in place of the standard 2-methoxybenzyl group. Despite being theoretically related to the active NBOMe compounds, extensive anecdotal evidence from 2013 to 2016 indicates that this substance produces minimal or no psychoactive effects at doses ranging from micrograms to hundreds of milligrams, by any route of administration. Only a single isolated positive report exists among numerous accounts of complete inactivity. Material sold as C30-NBOMe may be an inert compound, a mislabelled substance, degradation products, or simply inactive because of its unusual chemical structure. The substance is not documented in the major harm-reduction databases (PsychonautWiki, TripSit).
