Description
Microcapillary tubes are a fundamental tool for applying samples to plates in TLC (thin-layer chromatography) tests. Their very small diameter allows for the collection and transfer of a small drop of solution, ensuring precise and repeatable sample application.
Advantages:
• easy to use,
• ensure uniform starting spots,
• disposable and hygienic,
• do not introduce contaminants into the sample.
This is an indispensable accessory for every TLC analysis, allowing for clear and reliable results.

I don’t recommend these with 1 ul. They are to thin, so the sample mix stuck very easily and you need to use several every time. I’ve been doing 20 tlcs now and its just so much more smooth buying tubes with 10-50 ul and you just dip them a very short time (always work, and you actually see the liquid even if its transparent) in the sample vial and then dip off some if you got too much and then just dip a half second or some milliseconds on the plate. No tailing or anything else, it works.

1 ul is required for quantitative (%) analysis. If you experience clogging, please see instructions or reach out to us directly. Wait for sediment to fall down, dont submerge too deep – that should help and make each tube multiple-use.
