What was found in tested Tesla pills?

Tesla pill reports can differ in colour, contents and strength. Recorded samples are most often orange (28%), pink (21%) and grey (13%). Of the 126 samples, 112 had a measured MDMA content: from 3 mg to 252 mg, with half coming in above 137 mg and one in ten above 206 mg.

Here you can compare independent laboratory results for 126 photographed samples tested between 2022-02-17 and 2026-09-22 and listed in source records under names such as: Tesla, tesla. The photos and reports can help you find visually similar results, but they do not prove that an untested pill comes from the same batch.

Appearance cannot identify a tablet, which is why every sample here was tested rather than judged by eye.

Tesla was founded in 2003 by Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning and named after Nikola Tesla, and its T is commonly described as a cross-section through an electric motor.

Whatever it depicts, it is a simple geometric mark with clean edges, and that is exactly the kind of shape that survives being cut into a die and stamped tens of thousands of times. Orange leads the colours here, which is unusual in this catalogue, with pink close behind.

Every classified sample contained MDMA, with caffeine alongside it in a handful. DrugsPRO currently holds 126 photographed samples under this logo. Across the 112 with a measured MDMA content, results run from 3 mg to 252 mg, with half of everything measured here coming in above 137 mg. A tidy logo is not a sign of a tidy production process.

Check the pill in your hand with your own reagent test, used according to the kit instructions.

The Tesla stamp is used on the illegal market for tablets of different composition. The name, the press and the colour are not reliable marks of a particular batch. Even tablets bought in the same place and looking the same can come from different production runs.

Laboratory results show wide differences in dose, purity and adulterants. A tablet sold as ecstasy can carry an unexpectedly high MDMA dose, other stimulants, or substances that were never declared. That is what raises the risk of overheating, circulatory problems, serotonin syndrome and overdose, and it is exactly what a test answers before anyone takes anything.

A reagent test tells you which group of substances a sample belongs to. How much of it is in the tablet is what a purity or quantity test answers, and a full laboratory analysis names every component. Test a small portion, use more than one reagent, and compare the result with recent laboratory alerts.

Where these results come from

This comparison includes 126 samples tested between 2022-02-17 and 2026-09-22. The most frequently detected substances are: MDMA (123), Caffeine (9), Synthesis impurity (4), 2C-B (3).

Laboratory reports come from: SaferParty.ch, checkit.wien, contact-suchthilfe.ch, drogart.org, drugchecking.berlin, drugchecking.ch, druglab.fr, energycontrol.org. Other substances detected in some samples include: 4-CMC, Amphetamine, Dimethylpentylone, Unbekannte Peaks.

Information about the ingredients of Tesla pills comes from lab and user data. Each result is a warning rather than a guarantee, and no substance is safe by default. Testing the pill in your hand is the part you can control.Get a test kit.Other analyses inthe full database.
